Kenya Safaris

Day 1 Aberdares.

Depart Nairobiafter breakfast and drive north to Nyeri and the Outspan Hotel. A country style lunch at Outspan Hotel. In the afternoon transfer into the Aberdare National Park to Treetops for an evening and nocturnal of game watching experience. Overnight accommodation at Treetops.

Day 2 Lake Nakuru.

Return to the Outspan for breakfast, and then drive around the northern part of the Aberdares Range to descend into the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop over at the Thompson Falls in Nyahururu, then drive on to Lake Nakuru for a truly remarkable game drive that includes Flamingoes as well as the rare white rhino in this world famous ornithological paradise with over 450 species of bird life. This lake is famous for its million plus flamingos. A shimmering hot-pink glow emanates across the lake, created by millions of flamingos which migrate along the Great Rift Valley Lakes. Pelicans, cormorants and Marabou storks also feed on the abundant algae in the warm, shallow alkaline water. Enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 3 Lake Naivasha.

After breakfast, drive south along this scenic valley to Lake Naivasha. This is one of the Rift Valley's fresh water lakes with different ecology from that of the soda lakes. It is also home to a large variety of bird species. Main activities are fishing (both sport and commercial fishing). The Crater Lake found here is magnificent with lush green vegetation at the bottom of a beautiful volcanic crater. After lunch, take a boat ride on the lake, viewing hippo and a wealth of bird life.

Day 4 Masai Mara.

Depart after early break, climbing out of the Rift Valley, to enter the Masai Mara reserve, part of the Serengeti ecosystem.  After lunch at the lodge, be ready to experience some of the best game viewing in Kenya's most exciting game reserve.

Day 5 Masai Mara

Morning and afternoon game drives should reveal lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, topi, hartebeest, cheetah, gazelle, wart hog, and abundant bird life. Sunrise and sundown are the greatest moments for game viewing in these mystic plains, a time where the soft red hues of the sun will give your photographs the clarity of the actual African savannah.

Day 6 Nairobi.

After breakfast, game drive enroute back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon.
